Destinations

There are many different bodies of water located in and around Riga - canals, rivers, lakes and, of course, the Baltic sea. Our motorboat trips give you an opportunity to see Riga from extraordinary vantage points while leisurely relaxing on the water. We also offer the possibility of complementing your tour with waterskiing or a pleasant swim.

 

Riga City Canal



Riga City Canal surrounds Old Town and gives you an opportunity to see some of the most wonderful views in the city. Starting near the Riga Passenger Terminal, the canal is 3.2 km long, and passes the Latvian National Theatre, the Freedom Monument, the Latvian National Opera House and ends near Riga Central Market. During your trip, you will also see 16 bridges from different historical periods that span the canal. Going through Kronvalds Park and Bastejkalns, the canal is enriched with beautiful fountains and provides a view of various works of art along the way.

Daugava river

Daugava is the biggest river in Latvia, and has been an important part of Riga's evolution. Historically, the city of Riga developed on both sides of the river, and during this tour you will be able to see some magnificent views of Old Riga, Pārdaugava, and all of Riga's 5 big bridges across Daugava. In addition, you will see islands on the river Daugava, the port, and Daugava's entry into the Gulf of Riga. Some of the main sights of interest are the Riga Radio and TV Tower, the Riga Radio and Television Station, the National Library of Latvia "Sun Stone" building, as well as stunning panoramas of Old Riga.

Rivers Buļļupe and Lielupe

The Buļļupe river connects Daugava and Lielupe, two of the largest rivers in Riga. During your leisurely cruise toward Lielupe, you will see the Rock Monument Park, where a multitude of unique rock sculptures are on display. In Lielupe, the most popular sightseeing points are the Līvi Water Park, and the White Dune near the point where Lielupe flows into the Baltic sea.

The Gulf of Riga



The Gulf of Riga offers breathtaking views of the ever-changing sea and beautiful white sand beaches. It is particularly beautiful at sunset, with picturesque views of the golden sun reflected on the surface of the water. You can also combine this trip with a pleasant swim in the Baltic Sea.
